We’re off to see the Professor, the wonderful Professor of Granada! The Professor is Dr. Manuel Castillo-Garzon of the University of Granada in Spain who conducted research about the effects of beer after exercise.  After each run we toast, To The Professor in gratitude of his research. Dr. Castillo has graciously invited us to Granada to see where the epic Beer Study was conducted. We will visit the School of Medicine at the University of Granada for a presentation and tour. We will then go to the exercise laboratory to participate in a research project about how beer consumption affects physical strength. Of course we will do a beer run through the narrow streets of Granada to a beautiful roof top restaurant. There will be plenty of time for site-seeing in Madrid and Granada.

We plan to be in Granada with the Professor for 2 nights and 3 days. Folks can travel together or on their own. Travel dates are somewhat flexible, but those interested in going should be in Granada from April 21st-24th. This time frame allows us to be back in time to recover and participate in the Broad Street Run.  We will travel independently, so you can decide what dates, flights and accommodations work best for you, but we will put together a list of participants in case you want to travel together, want roommates, and pool expenses.    Please see the invite on Facebook.  Special thank you to Collee Baillie and Fred Druding for organizing the trip.  Please e-mail them or me for more info.
